Did you know the astronauts on the ISS experience 16 sunrises and 16 sunsets every day? Cool, right? The ISS is on Greenwich Mean Time, so the ball dropped for them five hours earlier than it did in Times Square. This year, they’re not alone out there, because three Chinese astronauts also celebrated on the Tiangong space station, which is under construction in orbit.
