The Aquarius Eye captained by Thomas is a spy ship, conducting deep-space surveillance and scanning for threats. But it’s undercover as an optical ship, staffed with medical personnel providing eye exams and dispensing next-gen eyewear to galactic patients. In direct competition is the Gemini Glasses captained by Gwen, bringing corrective eyewear and optical health to every sentient race in the galaxy, no matter how many eyes that particular race may have. The best outer space adventure I’ve experienced this month is a new sci fi movie! Have you seen Moonfall? OMG! In this spectacular romp, the Moon shifts from its orbit onto a collision path with Earth, triggering a global extinction event. A down-and-out astronaut and the partner he failed on his last deep space assignment must launch a last-chance mission on a retired space shuttle to intercept. At the same time, their teenage kids back home struggle for survival while the planet literally disintegrates around them. The cinematography is spectacular, and my hubby dug the galactic origin story behind the Moon’s erratic orbit.  Do yourself a favor and check this one out!

Her pirate cleared his throat. “What I’m trying to say is, uh, this isn’t what it looks like. We were gonna stop.”

Ben snorted and rolled his eyes. “No, we weren’t. For punk’s sake, Zorin. And if you’re waiting for Dex’s permission to know what it feels like to have my mouth wrapped around your disco stick, big guy, he just flipping gave it. Are you ready for me now?”

When Ben tried to straighten, Zorin tightened his grip on his shoulder to pin him to the wall. And slanted him a look so menacing it sent a shaft of raw craving straight to Kaia’s clit.

“You’ll stay right there till I’m done with you, gorgeous. If you know what’s good for you.”

Ben shot her a wry look. “How about a little help here, angel?”

With one last wiggle of her hips against his joystick just to keep him thinking about her, Kaia slipped out of Dex’s arms. She sauntered across the floor, one hand trailing across Zorin’s broad back in greeting as she wandered past.

Her pirate finally released Ben to slide his hand through the loose side ponytail spilling over her shoulder—a slow caress that heated her whole body. 

“Howdy, sweetheart,” he rasped.

She met his hot gaze with a sidelong smile. “Miss me?”

“You have no idea.”

His heartfelt tone made her grin. Reaching Ben’s side, she looped her arms around his neck to purr in his ear. 

“Ben Nero, you are such a bad boy. You’ve got Zorin ready to come in his pants.”

“Yeah, well, that makes two of us.” Ben pulled her in for a kiss that crackled with sexual frustration. “Someone had better be fucking me in about a nanosecond. Right now I’m not too choosy about which one of you gets me off. Looks like you’re first in line, angel.”

As well as an AMAZING book rec this month—an absolutely SMOKING MM fae fantasy standalone by one of my favorite authors ever! I did my Christmas reading lying on the beach in Florida. Interstellar Broadcast: Celebrating New Year on the International Space Station!

Did you know the astronauts on the ISS experience 16 sunrises and 16 sunsets every day? Cool, right? The ISS is on Greenwich Mean Time, so the ball dropped for them five hours earlier than it did in Times Square. This year, they’re not alone out there, because three Chinese astronauts also celebrated on the Tiangong space station, which is under construction in orbit.

Greetings Earthlings!

I don’t know about you, but for me, this month has been one wild ride. The pre-holiday rush is always insane, and release month for Interstellar Angel was out of this world—my first Amazon category bestseller, thanks to all of you, yay!!! I’m also heading toward qualifying exams for my PhD in Biodefense (basically a degree in keeping weapons of mass destruction away from the bad guys) and taking a super-heavy course load on WMD technology for that. PLUS I’m juggling two full time equivalent jobs in the office with a lot of folks counting on me, then running this publishing company, while trying to stay sane and healthy…you get the picture! 

And…did I mention…I have a new book coming! 😊 Kaia, Dex, Nero, and Zorin are back! Renegade Angel is a steamy, angsty, enemies-to-lovers, fast-burn Star Wars MMMF reverse harem action romance and Book 2 in the Astral Heat Romance Series. Four rival races. Solar Flare Larger than Planet Earth Causes Global Blackouts

If you lost power last Wednesday, this could be the reason why! Apparently the sun spits out solar flares larger than our planet, and the radiation from one of them hit us broadside on Nov. 10. Did your power flicker or your computer glitch? I was mesmerized by these apocalyptic video images of the sun spewing fire.

In the history of confessions, this wasn’t much of one. But the heat of making it scorched through her until she thought her cybersuit would burst into flames. Slowly her gaze lifted to find him.

“I know. It’s mixed up. I’m trying to figure things out.” Her eyes pleaded for understanding. “I feel the way I feel. That’s why I’m choosing you. What more do you want me to tell you?”

“Tell me?” His rough rasp sent shivers shooting down her spine. “Not a goddamn thing. Why don’t you shimmy on over here and show me?”
